The sixth annual Chocolate Daze will be presented in Downtown Wooster by Main Street Wooster, Inc. on Friday and Saturday Feb. 10-11, all across downtown. This retail promotion features all things chocolate, including restaurants offering their best chocolate desserts and other businesses offering special promotions, discounts, games and even more chocolate.

Last year, 25 businesses participated in Chocolate Daze. This year, 37 establishments will be offering a wide array of foods, drinks, demonstrations, games, activities, discounts and promotions. Each business will oversee its activity during its own business hours and will have a “Chocolate Daze Participant” sign posted.

This pre-Valentine’s Day weekend will feature everything from chocolate martinis to chocolate recliners to a live game of Candy Land. Participants include The Bead Café, Broken Rocks Café & Bakery, City Square Steakhouse, Friendtique, G&G Boutique/Wooster Floral, Muddy Waters Café & Grille, Salon Fringe, SoMar Wine Cellars, White Raven Native Elements, Tulipan Hungarian Pastry & Coffee Shop and many more. Many businesses will feature gift basket drawings and/or free chocolate dessert samples including chocolate mousse pie, cheesecake, cookies, and more.

The event is free and open to the public, so come downtown; it will be the sweetest place in town! The event is sponsored by the Wooster Weekly News.
