Entrepreneurship of wine and beer

The Center for Entrepreneurship is hosting an Alumni Forum at 7 p.m. on Feb. 16. The forum features Sharon Roeder ’93, Andrew Tveekrem ’85 and Ken Bogucki discussing the Entrepreneurship of Wine and Beer. The event’s goal is to show how a liberal arts education can lay the foundation for an entrepreneurial career path. Each of the speakers work in the wine and beer industry in different positions. The event begins with a performance from 7 p.m.– 8:30 p.m., followed by a reception in the Babcock Lounge with root beer floats and pretzels for those in attendance.

Ken Bogucki, the Chef and General Manager of the Wooster Inn, has had the opportunity to judge wine competitions in the region. Roeder is a wine maker and owner of Barrel Oak and Wine Industry. Tveekram has been in the brewing industry for 20 years, serving as the brewmaster and partner in the Market Garden Brewery, in addition to having previously served as Brewmaster for Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Frederick Brewing Company and Great Lakes Brewing Company.
