Work for Goliard

The Collegeís literary magazine, The Goliard, is now accepting applications.†† Those interested in editing stories and magazine layout can find applications in Lowry, and those wishing to submit poetry or prose can do so, as well. Donít Throw Shoes

The comedy imrpov group Donít Throw Shoes recently just held auditions and will hold their first show of the season on Sept. 25.† The group which performs improv comedy and short sketches does about two shows† a month.† Donít Throw Shoes is celebrating its 20th year on the Wooster Campus.

Community Voices

ìA Community of Voices” is a collection of writing and visual art that focuses on diversity within the Wooster community. The group is looking for proposals, manuscripts and artwork.† For more information about ìA Community of Voices” contact William Macauley at wmacaley@wooster.edu.

Jazz Piano Lessons

The college is offering jazz piano lessons.† Lessons are conducted by Professor Greg Slawson and will take place every other week.† Students will recieve .5 credits for the lesson and the lesson fee is $439.

Writers Workshop

On Sept. 25 The Goliard, one of two campus literary magazines and Year One, a literary magazine written by students, is holding a workshop to critique the poetry, short stories and novel excerpts of others.† The workshop will be held in the writing center in the Andrews Library from 4-6 p.m.
