Civilians killed in Afghanistan car bomb

Red Cross worker Abdul Wadood, 48, was killed in a car bombing in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday. In a blast that shattered windows in homes a kilometer away, Wadood died leaving a widow and 10 children. Wadood was among 43 dead and 75 wounded, said Col. Fazel Ahmad. According to the Red Cross, most of the victims were civilians, including children.
